Dean, Anup Singh Beniwal gets candid about the cultural Festival.

"Anugoonj is cultural and cosmopolitan fest where students intermingle and out-pour their berserk enthusiasm", reiterates the dean who seems to be exhilarated about the fest preparations.

Here is a short interview with the Dean who is an all praises for the fest and the students participating.

Question 1- Sir, Are you satisfied with the ongoing preparations?

AB           -  Anugoonj is the face of our university that represents its students. A cultural fest is not celebrated for representing the affiliated colleges and university, rather its a opportunity for students to stay connected to this gigantic institution. There is a sense of satisfaction after witnessing the smile on the faces of the participants who participate not for themselves but for their college.

Question 2-  This time the core-team got scrapped thus do you feel that this can hamper the preparations of the fest?

AB           -  Core-team is like a home and its each and every brick is our student who acts like its pillar of strength. If there are small scratches in a house then the Head of the family gets the house renovated. These students have a bright future and will learn from this incident.

Question 3- What are the new expectations from Anugoonj 2013? What are the precautionary measures introduced?
AB           - This time we have introduced Dastan Doi instead of Fashion Parade from which there are a lot of expectations. This time we have fetched sponsorship from Pepsi, Indian Bank and Study Online an internet portal. Anugoonj 2013 has certainly raised the bar as even in the university for the surveillance and safety we have taken cautionary steps like applying Electric Barbed wires along the boundary of our university, CCTV's and hidden cameras installed, tight security checks and all the coordinators have been informed to scrutinize the event preparations.

Questions 4- Do you feel that students are more interested in the jamming session rather than attending the cultural festival?
AB             -  Jamming session is also an imperative part of the fest and youth is the vanguard of the changing culture. Apart from the jamming session the youth is equally dotted in the cultural activities of the fest.

Quote Unquote

"I would like to back-slap and encourage the youth who participated, managed, audited, organised and strategically planned the event and made it a huge success.Everyone must enjoy but they should not consider enjoyment as a tool of showcasing their strength and think highly of themselves.I welcome everyone to Anugoonj whole heartedly. Students should enjoy and celebrate merriment."
